The 10th edition of SCSS supplier day was a great success with a new record of 442 attendees. To commemorate this special anniversary, a 2 days event was organized which included a private tour to Skin Research Institute of Singapore (SRIS) on Day 1, with an Exhibition and Podium Session on Day 2. This meaningful event was also featured on Cosmetics Design-asia.
Delegates on Day 1 event were given an opportunity to explore and appreciate the skin research scene and clinical service offerings in Singapore, right at the heart of SRIS. On Day 2, 30 exhibitors showcased their latest offerings related to beauty and personal care. Delegates were also able to attend the 9 presentations during the podium session.
Nobuaki Matsuoka, President of SCSS addressed the opening ceremony on Day 2 with key focus on the organization’s past successful events and future directions. A token of appreciation towards Hon.Advisor, Philip Jacobs for his enduring commitment was also expressed.
“This year, the SCSS celebrated its 10th Suppliers Day which has grown from a humble beginning with 12 exhibitors, 10 speakers and 51 delegates to a record breaking year in 2019 which has evolved into a 2 day event with a ½ day workshop on Day 1 and 30 exhibitors, 9 speakers (including a guest speaker from Shiseido, Japan), and a workshop on Day 2 with over 300 delegates. SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER
SCSS is very honored to invite Dr Tomonobu Ezure, Principal Scientist from Shiseido Global Innovation Center as our guest speaker. His presentation was one of the key highlight on Day 2.
Delegates who attended the workshop session by Ms Belinda Carli were able to apprehend the technique in creating different types of mask with enhanced delivery.
